A team of experts from Positive Technologies has taken first place in the capture the flag (CTF) content at a renowned annual security conference in Amsterdam.
The group, who nicknamed themselves the “TechnoPandas”, led from the start and were crowned the winners after almost 48-hours of straight coding at the HITBSecConf.
The event was the fourth in a series of bi-annual conferences devoted to information security which are held alternately in the Netherlands and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In addition to the CTF contest, the conference program also included research paper presentations and hands-on lab sessions.
The CTF contest was organized by members of a well-known Dutch hacking team, Eindbazen, who have become regular attendees at Positive Hack Days; an annual security event organized by Positive Technologies.
