B2B Community Manager (IT / Cybersecurity)

We are looking for an experienced B2B Community Manager to build, grow, and activate a professional community around our IT and cybersecurity solutions. This role focuses on engaging decision-makers, practitioners, partners, and industry experts through online and offline initiatives, creating a trusted space for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and long-term relationships.

You will own the community strategy end-to-end—from defining goals and programs to execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.
 

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Strategy & Growth:

- Design and execute a B2B community strategy aligned with business goals (brand awareness, thought leadership, demand generation, retention).
- Build and scale communities of IT professionals, cybersecurity leaders, partners, and customers.
- Define community structure, engagement models, and success metrics.

2. Engagement & Content:

- Plan and run ongoing community programs: discussions, AMAs, webinars, roundtables, events, and peer-to-peer initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, sales, security experts) to deliver high-value technical and business content.

3. Events & Partnerships:

- Work with partners, speakers, and industry influencers to co-create community activities.
- Represent the company in relevant IT and cybersecurity ecosystems.

4. Community operations & insights:

- Manage community platforms (Slack, Discord, LinkedIn Groups, forums, or proprietary tools).
- Track engagement, growth, and impact using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
- Gather community insights and feedback to inform marketing, product, and go-to-market strategies.

5. Cross-functional collaboration:

- Align community initiatives with marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and thought leadership efforts.
- Support sales and customer teams by enabling community-led advocacy and referrals.
- Act as the voice of the community internally.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience building and managing B2B communities globally, ideally in IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
- Proven experience engaging technical and business audiences (CISOs, IT managers, security engineers, partners).
- Hands-on experience running professional communities, not just social media accounts.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Strong understanding of B2B marketing and community-led growth.
- Familiarity with IT security / cybersecurity concepts (or ability to learn quickly).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to plan, execute, and measure community programs independently.
- Experience with community tools and platforms (e.g., Slack, LinkedIn, forums, CRM/marketing tools).
