We are looking for a highly skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Egypt. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing the full technical cycle of pilot and rollout implementation activities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication abilities to ensure the successful deployment of our software products in client environments.
Responsibilities:
- Pilot and Rollout Setup:
- Configure and set up pilot and rollout servers and system software to meet project requirements.
- Install and configure Positive Technologies software products and additional integration tools (e.g., n8n, DefectDojo, various proxies). - Project Management:
- Control the pilot and rollout plan and scope, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Define technical requirements and supervise infrastructure readiness for pilot and rollout projects. - Success Criteria Management:
- Establish and manage pilot and rollout success criteria, promptly addressing and resolving any incidents that arise during the implementation process. - Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the implementation process, including project plans, technical specifications, and user guides. - Integration Support:
- Ensure seamless integration with existing client systems, providing technical guidance and support throughout the implementation process. - Training and Support:
- Provide technical support and training to Positive Technologies Partners and Clients, empowering them to effectively use our products. - Reporting:
- Prepare detailed project reports for pilot and rollout activities, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in network security, with a strong focus on Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Network Traffic Analysis (NTA), Network Access Control (NAC), and other related security technologies.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Sandbox solutions, Vulnerability Management, Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and container security solutions. - Certifications:
- Relevant certifications from recognized cybersecurity hardware and tool vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.) are highly desirable. - Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of network security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus. - Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
